Before Your Pet's Appointment

  • For in home appointments, Dr. Maya will bring everything she needs but please clear a bit of space so she can check your pet's gait and has room to move.

  • For in office appointments, at this time, only the pet will be taken into the appointments. Dr. Maya will speak to you in person in the parking lot or over the phone (weather dependent) before and after the appointment. Please call 519 476 8700 when you arrive.

  • If your pet has certain personality quirks (pees when nervous, can only have certain kinds of treats) please let us know in advance so we can make sure your pet is looked after.

  • If you're unsure how your dog will react, please muzzle him/her prior to the appointment.

  • Missed and rescheduled appointments: Things happen! If you need to change an appointment, please notify us 24 hours in advance, so we may reschedule your visit. If you do miss an appointment, the fee is $40.

Your pet's health is of the utmost importance to us. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask.

Covid-19 Protocols


During the current conditions, we have implemented special protocols for all patients and clients of Dog N Cat Chiropractic:

  • A Covid-19 Health survey will be emailed 12 hours before an appointment. The survey applies to everyone in your household--ie does anyone in your house have a fever, cough etc not just you as indicated by the form. This MUST be filled out before your appointment.

  • All initial paperwork will be completed and submitted electronically, except the consent form, which currently still requires an in person signature.

  • For in home appointments, only one person at a time (in addition to myself) will be allowed in the adjustment area. Adjustments can be done outside if the weather is nice.

  • I will be wearing a mask during our appointment. Since we will be in close proximity to each other, you are required to wear a mask as well, according to provincial guidelines. 

  • For in office appointments, the current procedure will be similar to your vet appointment experience.

  • All equipment, including the adjusting block, payment machine and clipboard will be disinfected between appointments.
